Step 2: Generate JSON file containing your Facebook messages

Select the “JSON” format from the drop-down menu and select the date range as per your requirement. Deselect everything and select only “Messages” under “Select information to download” section.

 

 

Scroll down and click “Request a download” button. You will get an email notification when the file is ready to download. 

 

 

Step 3: Download the JSON file on your computer

Finally, go to “Available files” section and click on the “Download” button to download the JSON file that has all your Facebook Messenger conversations on your computer.

 

 

Step 4: Run the program on your computer and import Facebook messages from the JSON file

Launch the program on your computer and import the Facebook messages from the JSON file by going to File > Import from JSON File. (a). If you have an older Android device (Works Only on devices running Android 7 to 10)

You need to follow these steps to save and print messages from Facebook Messenger if you are using an Android device.

 

Step 1: Enable USB debugging on your Android and connect it to your PC

The first step is to enable a special mode called USB debugging on the Android device by going to Settings > Developer options. If Developer options menu is hidden on your Android, then you need to go to Settings > About Device > and tap on the "Build Number" 7 times.

 

Next, connect Android device to your PC via USB cable and launch the Facebook Messages Transfer software. Software will install apps like "FB Sync" and "AppClone" on your Android device

 

 

Step 2: Run Facebook Messenger via AppClone

Now, you need to run the "AppClone" app on your Android, select the Facebook Messenger from the list and tap "Add to Parallel Space" button. Next, click on three dots/Kebab menu and turn off the "Speed Mode" of the AppClone app. Finally, tap on Facebook Messenger icon to run the 2nd copy of Facebook Messenger on your Android device.

 

 

Step 3: Login into your Facebook account

After running the second copy of Facebook Messenger via AppClone, you need to login to your Facebook account so that software can load your Facebook Messenger's conversations onto its interface.

Method 3: Take screenshots to print messages from Facebook Messenger

Most computers, tablets, and phones allow users to take screenshots. Each device has a different way to accomplish this task, but it is usually very simple - It's all about looking up how to do a screenshot on your device and saving the image. You can later print it all out if needed.

 

 

Step 1: Open the Facebook Messenger app on your iPhone or Android

 

Step 2: Open the Facebook conversation and go to the section that you want to print.

 

Step 3: iPhone users can press the Side and the Volume Up button at the same time to take a screenshot. If you have an iPhone with a Home button, then you need to simultaneously press the Home and Side (Sleep/Wake) button. On most Android devices, you can press and hold the Power + Volume down buttons at tthe same time to take a screenshot.

 

Step 4: Next you need to select the mailing option to forward to your email address.

For example, if you take a screenshot of a message from your phone and try to enlarge the image so that it fits a regular sheet of paper, the screenshot with the text might look grainy and lo-res. If you enlarge a lower resolution image, the resulting print quality might be poor.
